Welcome to Fix O Drive (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By registering, booking a mechanic, or using any feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Fix O Drive acts as a technology platform that connects customers (“Customers”) seeking vehicle repair, maintenance, or roadside assistance with independent mechanics (“Mechanics”). We facilitate bookings, messaging, AI-powered chat moderation, and appointment management. We are not a repair shop, nor do we provide repair services directly. Any contract for repair services is solely between the Customer and the Mechanic.
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By registering, you confirm that all information provided (name, email, phone, credentials) is accurate and complete. Mechanics agree to submit valid certifications, licenses, or identity proofs for verification. The Company reserves the right to reject or suspend any user who provides false information or violates these Terms.
Bookings are confirmed after mutual acceptance. Payment processing may be facilitated through third-party gateways. Customers are responsible for paying agreed service fees directly to mechanics or via integrated payment options. Cancellation policies are defined per mechanic but must respect a minimum notice period. Fix O Drive does not handle mechanic payments unless explicitly stated, and any dispute regarding payment quality or scope must be resolved between the parties.
Our AI message analyzer scans chat conversations in real time to detect suspicious patterns, phone number sharing attempts, fraud indicators, or offensive language. While we prioritize user privacy, the AI system processes message content solely to protect platform integrity and prevent scams. All booking details, vehicle information, and repair records are treated as confidential and will not be shared with unrelated third parties, except as required by law or to enforce our policies.
IMPORTANT Fix O Drive provides a matching and communication platform but does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by mechanics. If a Customer or Mechanic engages in fraudulent activity — including fake reviews, identity theft, payment fraud, or providing false documentation — the offending party bears sole responsibility. The Company reserves the right to permanently ban fraudulent users and cooperate with legal authorities. THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, OR INJURY ARISING FROM INTERACTIONS BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND MECHANICS, INCLUDING NEGLIGENT REPAIRS, DISPUTES, OR BREACH OF CONTRACT. Users are strongly encouraged to verify mechanic credentials and exercise due diligence.
To facilitate direct communication, a mechanic’s phone number may be revealed to a customer only after a confirmed booking. Sharing personal contact information outside the platform’s chat (e.g., exchanging numbers before booking) is prohibited and may result in suspension. Additionally, our platform displays advertisements provided by third-party ad networks (e.g., Adsterra, Google AdSense). These third-party vendors may use cookies or tracking technologies to serve relevant ads. Fix O Drive does not control third-party ad content and is not liable for any interactions or data collection performed by advertisers. You acknowledge that clicking on ads may redirect you to external websites governed by their own policies.
By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, status updates) and promotional communications including newsletters, special offers, mechanic tips, and platform updates. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email footer. However, service-related notifications cannot be disabled as they are essential for your bookings.
All user data (profiles, messages, booking details) is stored on encrypted Firebase servers. We implement industry-standard security measures, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. You agree that you provide information at your own risk. In case of a data breach, affected users will be notified in accordance with applicable laws.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We may terminate or suspend access immediately for violations, fraudulent conduct, or extended inactivity.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India (Jurisdiction: Tamil Nadu). Any disputes arising out of or relating to the platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Chennai, India.

This Privacy Policy explains how Fix O Drive (“Company”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our platform. Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to transparency regarding your data.
Personal Information: When you register, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, profile photo (optional), vehicle details, and if you are a mechanic: certifications, specialization, and proof of identity. Booking & Communication Data: We store chat messages (scanned by AI for safety), appointment history, service feedback, and geolocation (only if you enable location for nearby mechanic suggestions). Technical Data: IP address, device type, browser version, and interaction logs to improve performance.
We do not sell your personal data. However, we share information in the following limited circumstances:
Phone number visibility: To protect privacy, phone numbers are hidden until a booking is confirmed. After confirmation, both parties can see each other's contact number for coordination. Fraud warning: If a customer or mechanic attempts to bypass the platform by sharing phone numbers before booking, our AI may flag the conversation and restrict access. Any misuse of phone numbers (harassment, spam) must be reported; violating parties will be banned. Regarding advertisements: Third-party ad servers may collect non-personal identifiers to display relevant automotive/mechanic ads. Fix O Drive is not responsible for the privacy practices of external advertisers.
We may send periodic promotional emails highlighting new features, discounts, or maintenance tips. You can opt out of marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any promotional email. However, transactional emails (booking confirmations, appointment reminders, account alerts) are mandatory for using our service. By registering, you agree to receive such service-related communications.
We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Deleted accounts are anonymized within 30 days. We implement encryption (TLS, AES-256) and access controls to protect your data. In case of a security breach, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours where required by law.
Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn such data was collected, we will delete it promptly.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting privacy@fixodrive.com. You may also withdraw consent for marketing communications. Mechanics may request removal of certification documents after account closure, subject to legal retention periods.
We may revise this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be notified via email or platform notification. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

Fix O Drive is an intermediary platform under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India). We do not endorse or guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by any mechanic. If a customer or mechanic engages in fraudulent activity, misrepresentation, or breach of trust, the Company shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages. Both parties are solely responsible for verifying each other's credentials, insurance, and compliance with local laws. The Company will cooperate with law enforcement in cases of identity theft, payment fraud, or criminal acts. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fix O Drive, its directors, and affiliates from any claims arising out of user-to-user disputes.
Additionally, by using our services you consent that any promotional emails, push notifications, or in-app announcements are part of the platform experience. Third-party ad networks (e.g., Adsterra, Google) may serve personalized ads based on your browsing behavior — you may manage ad preferences through your device or browser settings. Phone numbers are disclosed only for legitimate booking purposes; misuse will lead to immediate termination and potential legal action.
